Crude Oil Assay Data Management System (Assay-MS)

The assay data management system is designed to manage the crude oil assay data provided in the HPI Crude Assay DataBase (COADB). The program uses MS EXCEL^TM. The program assumes that the assay data are in Lotus 1-2-3^TM worksheet files in the standard format provided in COADB.

The system performs the following operations:

1. Blend from 2 to 10 assays
2. Change the TBP cut point of the products
3. Update an existing crude oil assay in the database
4. Add a new crude oil assay to the database

The program uses the full Windows interface to make make it easy to select, modify, blend or recut the crudes.

Items are selected from the menu screens by entering the number or letter associated with the selected item.
