Nexidea Systems acquires assets of HPI.

Nexidea Systems, Inc., an affiliated company of Nexidea, Incorporated, acquired the assets of HPI Consultants, Inc. in
December 2008. Nexidea Systems, Inc. is excited to add the HPI products to their existing product offering and
will continue to offer and support the existing HPI products.

Nexidea, Incorporated is a professional consulting firm specializing in the technical, commercial, and economic aspects of the downstream petroleum industries - petroleum refining, transportation, marketing, petrochemicals, and electric power. Nexidea holds a diverse set of capabilities to deliver multi-faceted services when addressing the needs of our clients. These capabilities center on four focus areas of expertise - technical, business, financial, and legal.

HPI markets a series of software tools and technical books used by:

Since 1981, HPI Consultants has provided consulting services to the petroleum refining and petrochemical industries. HPI has specialized in techno-economic studies for the petroleum and petrochemical industries. This work has included the development and use of linear programming models for petroleum refining and petrochemical plants, technical and economic process evaluation, and feasibility studies for refining and chemical projects. A series of crude oil assay products have also evolved from this work.
